This time the confirmation comes from an Italian study or from the one conducted by the International Neuro Molecular Research Institute in Rome.
According to the results of this study, regular intake of tap water would increase the memory and learning abilities of school-age children.
The research was carried out on a sample of 1,000 boys aged between 10 and 13 years, selected throughout the national territory with the collaboration of a statistical research institute, which was given 2 liters a day for six months. water supplied by some Italian public aqueducts, including the Apulian Aqueduct. At the end of the period, in 72% of the cases the average of the votes compared to the previous years improved significantly, in a range between 10% and 35%. The research confirms the important role of food in water, with its content of mineral salts and trace elements, confirming the positive contribution of Magnesium, Iron, Potassium and Calcium, as essential elements to guarantee a good efficiency of the neuro-muscular system.
Equally important, the researchers attributed the role of solvent in tap water and the ability to facilitate the penetration of trace elements into the cells, facilitating their absorption.
