Unit 3: Teachers resources - secondary school

Introduction

Environmental education is aimed at shaping ecological culture, environmental awareness and environmental behavior in their mutual connection with a view to knowing the environmental laws, protecting, improving, managing and judicious use of natural resources, as well as protecting the natural environment and ecological balance.

Children at secondary schools need to:

  • To know and respect environmental standards and behavior with a view to protecting nature and creating a sustainable environment;
  • To be able to make connections between different spheres of public life and understand the causes of social inequalities, environmental and global challenges;
